Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport is located in the Okecie district of Warsaw (6 miles = 10km SW of capital city).
Terminals are within walking distance of each other. Terminal 2 makes connecting easy. When connecting exclusively within Schengen or Non-Schengen you will have to go through security control before proceeding to the gate for your next flight. When connecting from a Schengen flight to a Non-Schengen destination you will have to pass a security check and then go through immigration before proceeding to your gate.

Passenger check-in opens 2 hours before the scheduled departure (4 hours for flights to/from the U.S.). The last passenger is checked-in 30 minutes before the scheduled time of departure (45 minutes for flights to/from the U.S.) This rule applies to all flights operated by LOT Polish Airlines from all airports worldwide.
Bus: - The bus stop is located infront of the Arrivals hall. The Intercity Polski Express bus company provides a direct and regular bus connection to 30 different towns in Poland. Passengers can purchase tickets from the driver.
Transfer to the city: - Municipal bus lines (No 175 and 188) operate daily from 4:40am to 11pm. Journey time is 30 min and a single daytime ticket costs 2.40 zl. Tickets are available in the Ruch kiosks and at Tourist Information in the Departures Hall. Some hotels provide a shuttle bus service to and from the hotel on request.
A taxi stand is located in front of the Arrivals Hall.
