Henri Coandă International Airport is located at 18 km (11 mi) N of Bucharest downtown; it is currently served by DN1 road.
The 783 Express line connects Bucharest Airport with the city center (about 60 min). Airport stops: in front of the Domestic and International Departures Flights Terminals.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 05:30-20:00 (every 15 min), 20:30-23:00 (every 30 min). Saturday, Sunday and legal holidays: 05:30-23:00 (every 30 min). Card desk: in front of the Domestic Flights Terminal, daily: 06:00-21:00.
Route: Henri Coanda Airport, Otopeni, Baneasa Airport, Piata Presei Libere, Arcul de Triumf, Piata Victoriei, Piata Romana, Piata Universitatii, Piata Unirii. Piata Victoriei and Piata Unirii stops have underground stations with direct connection to the North Railway Station (Gara de Nord).

LIST OF GOODS WHICH HAVE TO BE DECLARED
According to the Regulation for applying the Romanian Customs Code Government Decision 626/1997
1. The amounts of RON (lei) that exceed the value of 1000 Euro.
2. The amounts in foreign currency that exceed 10.000 Euro or equivalent in any foreign currency.
3. Weapons and ammunitions, explosives, radioactive and nuclear materials.
4. Narcotics (drugs) essential and toxic substances.
5. Objects of precious materials other than personal belongings.
6. Alcoholic drinks exceeding 2 liters.
7. Cigarettes over 200 pieces.
8. Any other goods in value of over 100 Euro (mobile telephones, video cameras, etc.) for the Romanian passengers to be exempted for the customs duties upon the return to the country.
Travel documents:
No matter what country are you going to visit, the passport is the indispensable document for crossing the state border. Be sure that your passport is valid at least six more months from the date of your journey. According to the country you are leaving for, a visa might be required.
